The 7-Day Inner Reset — Day 3
Your Inner Compass
Learning to recognize what drains you, what restores you, and how to find your way back.
Today’s Principle
Alignment isn't a destination. It's something you can feel.
You know the feeling — the subtle tension of saying yes when you meant no, staying silent when something inside wanted to speak, or moving through a day that looks fine on the outside while something underneath feels off. That's misalignment, and it has a cost. Not as a judgment, just as information.
When your actions, thoughts, and feelings are moving in the same direction — toward what genuinely matters to you — energy flows more freely. You feel clearer, lighter, more yourself.
Today is about learning to use that felt sense as a guide.
Today’s Invitation:
"When I recognize what drains my energy and choose to release or reduce it, I create space for what genuinely restores me."
Why it Matters
Your body keeps score — and it also keeps compass.
Depletion rarely arrives all at once. It accumulates quietly — in the obligations we haven't examined, the habits we've outgrown, the inner dialogue running in the background.
The same is true of restoration: the things that genuinely renew you are often smaller and more available than you think.
Today's practice is about bringing both into conscious awareness, so you can begin making choices from clarity rather than habit.
Day 3 Practice
Let Go and Realign
This short practice invites you to notice where you feel tension and where you feel ease — and to experience what it feels like when your inner system begins to realign. Like a compass returning to true north.
TODAY’S EXPERIMENT
Depletion and Renewal
Take a piece of paper and draw a line down the center. On the left, write: What Depletes My Energy? On the right: What Renews My Energy?
Move through your day and note three to five items on each side — people, habits, environments, inner dialogue, rituals, moments of rest.
Then pause and ask two questions: What can I release, even a little? And: What can I protect or add?
You don't need to overhaul anything. One small realignment is enough.
Reflect & Record
At the end of your day, sit with these questions.
What did I notice when I listed what depletes and renews me
What felt most surprising — or most validating?
What is one thing I can release, and one thing I can reclaim, starting now?
Coming Tomorrow
Day 4: Heart-Brain Coherence — Coming Back to Center
You've worked with attention, appreciation, and alignment. Tomorrow we go into the heart — literally. Day 4 explores the practice of heart-brain coherence and what becomes possible when your heart, mind, and body are working together rather than at odds.
